Serving as a Student Representative with AISES is a fun and memorable experience that not only allows you to build your network, but also enables you to develop and strengthen your communication, leadership, and other professional skills. Represent and advocate for the needs of other College/University students within AISES and make lifelong connections along the way.
The National Student Representatives serve as liaison to the Regional Student Representatives, communicate with AISES Staff, and participate as a non-voting member on the AISES Board of Directors. They serve for a two-year term. The Regional Student Representatives serve as liaison to chapters within their respective regions, communicate with AISES staff and are involved in planning the annual Regional Conference. There are seven Regional Representatives and they each serve for a one-year term.
Student Representatives evaluate common issues and concerns and make recommendations for ways to improve AISES for College/University students.
